there you will find many boys who will one day be men...

That sounds like the title of a book by one of those names you listed last night. But I don't know what you mean by it.

I guess the thesis of the book is that it's tough to bring up boys not to turn to violence to solve disagreements or relieve frustration while at the same time expecting them to be able to defend themselves physically. And our expectations of girls are somehow different so they are less at risk.

Is your point that women don't do domestic violence, men do it to women, so we should worry about boys learning by example and growing up to be batterers? Why did you single out boys?

Unless you want to disclose the real reasons for your contempt for legislation(and the person who drafted it) helping families(that includes men in those families) suffering from physical, emotional and sexual abuse by "clinging" to "some people abuse this law", continuation of this conversation is pointless

Murray Straus..look him up...he created an uproar at a conference I attended when one of his studies found the much higher than he expected numbers of women who commit violence against men....and this is a sociologist who'd spent his entire career tracking men against women violence...but he had the courage to not stand by the "party line" and tell an audience about data they didn't want to hear...

Eli Newburger, a pediatrician, was the first to tell fellow pediatricians of the abuse within their profession of children....He also was the inspiration for "Men they will become line" because he wrote a book about it...

You can do a search of every post of mine since 04 when I joined SI and you'll never find a "women against men" rant or even implication....first, it's not my belief. And not my style, since the day I could talk, to blindly parrot any group's party line...........................................and it's this disposition that influenced that hard-hitting post to you yesterday...but instead of answering that, you cling to some worn out and false notion about liberals, Biden and how they hate men just because it's noted that he drafted and passed a landmark domestic violence law...
