He still wishes we had retreated in defeat - one thing to oppose the surge beforehand, to continue opposing it after it succeeded is stubborn inability to admit his mistake in judgement. The same as when he said a few months ago, "I don't think there's anything particularly controversial about my church." Another example of pisspoor judgment. No positive accomplishments plus piss poor judgment. A winning combination - no wonder liberals love him.
