Before that, the Republicans tried to drive a wedge between hispanics and blacks. I find their version of morality, ethics, lack of compassion and how life should be led very ugly. It reminds me of that dark part of the human species that enjoys and engages in tribal warfare, cruel dicatorships, laws that allowed people enslaved for most of history, Romans enjoying gladiator sports or dog fighting. The appeal to the worst in humans rather than the best in humans. Humans will also risk or sarifice their life to save another person they do not even know. We have both good and bad tendencys in us. The democrats try to address what is best in humans (like tolerance of people who are different, compassion e.g raising the minimum wage. And Republicans address what is worst in us. 8 times they refused to raise the minimum age (McCain voted against it every time. The minimum wage, good god. Those people are starving as it is. Blatant elitism and lack of empathy!! The first thing the dems did when they got into power was raise the minimum wage. last time it was raised was also with a dem, Clinton. Ad why do people on minimum wage vote republican? At least blacks know who their enemy is. I remember watching a documentary about past tribal warfare. The narrator, then a teacher said when he was young, looking forward to a raid on another camp was like waiting for Christmas. And Ghengis kahn talked about how wonderful it was to raze a village, rape the women and steal all of the wealth. We have that in our nature and the Republicans look for it to exploit it. That is the truth about the Republican behavior! The dems are the good guys and gals and fortunately also the smart guys and gals. The dems carry the light! America cann't seem to figure this out.
