So far, Biden and McCain are qualified with respect to foreign policy and national defense. That's pretty much it. As I see it this election is a referendum on minorities and a black man and woman have leap frogged as candidates for both parties, but I would much rather see any deficiencies at the bottom rather than the top of a ticket. As for McCain's health though, presidents receive the best health care in the world and routinely now live into their 80s and 90s. I might also add that Democrats did substantial fear mongering eight years ago that Cheney was ready to drop dead. * * *
