I think somebody with a down syndrome child that is pro life brings home the entire issue in spades, not to men obviously but to WOMEN and thats who McCain was trying to court with this pick.

You obviously don't understand the issues. You cannot raise a down syndrome child in the USA without **significant** financial means (or government benefits if you are living in a small town, like Palin). Somebody working at company X doesn't get benefits to support these children. Read up on your own healthcare plan if you don't believe me. Every woman knows this. Incredible.

Can you tell me what your first hand experience is with a downs syndrome child or for that matter any other mentally handicapped child? And what first hand knowledge you have with regard to the medical expenses for raising that child?

I suspect you have NO first hand experience.

Do you have any first hand experience with the costs of raising a so called normal child?
