They can get everyone out in 48 hours with contraflow. The coastal areas served by the lowest lying highways (Terrebonne and Plaquemine and probably Lafourche parishes) have already been evacuated via mandatory orders. A staged evacuation strategy if you will. I personally wouldn't wait for evacuation orders, but I'm a p*ssy that way. They'll be fine. Bobby Jindal's running the show, not the incompetent boobs who botched it last time. With any luck this will all be a practice run anyway.
