It was remarked that Sarah Palin does not come across as angry, even though she's a reformer.

Like Ronald Reagan.

The starting point for Palin is public service. She uses reformist expressions like "we're going to do this ethically" and "we're going to run a clean ship".

The starting point for Obama is class struggle. He uses doctrinaire phrases which echo 1960's tropes like "power to the people" and "capitalist pig".
