The only plan the US has to extricate themselves from the nightmare of entitlements, is the continual expansion of the population, which can only be achieved through immigration, legal or not. Somebody has to work to pay for past excesses. Guess who? Countries such as Germany or Russia, in contrast, face a bleak future of hugely declining population. Something has to give.
