The post to which you refer was labeled as "gossip"--i.e., not verified. Not undisputable fact. But if the writer of the allegation is correct that there are no pictures of a pregnant Palin, that Palin was obviously not pregnant when she made her 7 month announcement, and the account of her travels on the day of the delivery is accurate--you draw the conclusion. And, perhaps you didn't note that another poster on this board immediately and politely said that such talk wasn't appropriate.

And for the record, I have never posted about "Kenyan births or secret Muslim connections and conspiracies" unless it was to dismiss such nonsense.

Good for you. I mean that. But obviously you have read the continuing references both of them. If you actually read this board, you will not see that much nonsense, although it is true that Palin is such an unknown and was such a surprise that we have indulged in more speculation and value judgments than usual. Sure there is banter and humor. But it isn't venomous.

People with views that oppose Dale's in reasonable ways are certainly welcome to post here. And some do. Do they get called down? Sure. But for the most part, people use reason when arguing points here.

I hope you noticed that after Sam posted that link, that Syb immediately said it shouldn't be discussed, as did Wonk. And that was that.

FOr the most part, the discussion has been about facts emerging about Palin. If there is some glee evident, that can hardly be unexpected on a board where almost all are for Obama. On the other hand, there are several most definitely NOT for him, who post and argue.

She really isn't the perfect choice that some are pretending. She may become so, she may even be already, but who knows. Given the sparse resumé, the short length of time she's been known to McCain, the big blanks next to most of her years regarding work or further education before a part time stint considering the whipping Obama's gotten by the RW over HIS resume, you would think that an honest person would at least admit there are questions about hers- and that even as VP, that's an issue.

At least we don't call Obama a "black boy", like some of your compatriots. Talk about embarrassing company to keep. I feel for ya.

If this thread is so venomous why are you here? I don't go to the places that call Obama a black boy and tell them what I think. Why would I bother? Why do you bother? Just need to poke some people with a stick tonight?

>>"The reason many of us post here is that Dale kicks people out who are venomous."

Only those whose venomous opinions he doesn't share.

Or whose non-venomous opinions he doesn't share, for that matter.<<

O -

Sorry, but in my view those are just gratuitous insults that contradict the observable facts. I think you owe Dale an apology.
