Well that's fabulous news. There are more dems now than reps, and with the undecided middle we are sure to win. What happy news- and you had me all scared there for a while :-)

Polling still doesn't mean a whole lot. It will begin to be meaningful at the end of this month and, especially, after the debates. They will be very important, IMO, unless one of the candidates makes a huge gaffe between now and then that totally turns people off.

Seminole: The other night on the former Art Bell program where aliens and other subjects are discussed that are not in lock step with the majority beliefs,but nevertheless interesting. A woman called in from Alabama. She accused Obama of consorting with the devil. He is a Muslim she said and he has plans to blow up our country If he gets in the White House. He needs to be stopped and his mother is part of the plot. I think she is deceased but the moderator failed to convey this to her. She ranted on about all of her friends know this and something is going to happen to this country with that black Muslim. Then listening to the Bill Moyer's program Friday night I was able to discern from two brothers who wrote a book about the dividing of America into the South and North. How alien the Northern thinking is to the Southerners where God and Country are first. They will not vote for Obama. He is not only Godless but he is also black. So the old hatred still reigns about blacks in certain parts of the South. The worst States for these prejudices were Alabama,Mississippi, South Carolina and Georgia with Atlanta being a separate entity as it has been infiltrated so much by Northerners. North Carolina is thought of as a swing State.. but leaning to the Southern thinking. Also Tennessee.. I may have missed some States but the transcript of this interview can be found on NPR website withe August 29th date entered. Very interesting program
