Stupid Carter describes Obama as a black boy- so that is the "appropriate name" this poster will use for Obama, and he does. I'm sorry- there really is no way around that read. It's very clear. If you don't like that obvious construction, I have to say I'm relieved- but that's the logical way to read it- and then of course to dig himself in more deeply this poster does go on to post about something the black boy did. Yup. It really is that simple. If someone called Palin an ignorant slut, and I said "that's so appropriate- I'm going to start calling her that", would you think that was "ok"- because I'm just "commenting" on what someone else said? I hope not. Because it wouldn't be ok- and it's exactly the same thing. Actually it's probably not quite as bad as what was done to Obama, because I don't think there is a history of slut lynching and slut enslavement- but maybe I'm wrong about that.
