And Ted, let's not forget the lobbyists..it's only by following this campaign so closely that I became aware of how they've contaminated every aspect of my/our life........................imo, they've become the true enemy of America wrapped in the US flag and playing John Cougar Mellencamp tunes at Repub election rallies...

McCain's campaign, as we know, is run by the most sleaziest..

The problem isn't with Obama.....its with the country. Obama is nobody's fool. He knows what his limitations are.......no matter how many love him, a significant number hate him because of the color of his skin and secondly, because of his politics. If you are white and blessed with the talents of an Obama, you are likely to go flying into the stratosphere but when you are black, its a whole different story.

This country has been given a gift.....whether we accept it will be determined on November 4th.

IMHO, it is less about the man--men--running than it is our dumbed down electorate who basically want it all now and the congress who is only too happy to oblige them.

I think our History shows that only when some great crisis thrusts itself upon us are we able to force ourselves to overcome our worst instincts.

The bigger question for me with regard to Obama and the Democrats is that if they are able to "run the table" will they be able to "get it right". To resist the temptation to "pay off" all their supporters and make us swallow "fiscal" castor oil. If we want to live within our means it means we all are going to to have to do with less. Show me the politician who can sell that! Which is why I am not optimistic.

Do you raise any of these concerns in your classes?

Are you even able to without incurring the wrath of the School Administration?
