Well I disagree. He is not necessarily right.

For example, one 15 million ounces deposit will not likely produce as much as 3 different deposits of 5 millions onces in the same time frame. Because of the discounting mechanism, not all ounces are of equal value at a specific moment in time. The ounce that will be produced next week is worth the spot price minus the cost, but the ounce that will be produced in 15 years is not worth a lot today.

Without Aurelian mining plan, it is hard to reach his conclusion. There is also the fact that Meridian had installations worth several hundred millions if not a billion or more while Aurelian must still finance all these installations.

One thing is sure though. Aurelian is wort more than $60 per ounces. I have said $2 billion in the pass which would suggest $140/oz. I'll stick with that given the current uncertainty about the coming votes and future royalties.

P.S Have no time for debating at Agoracom.

BTW, if ARU is worth $300 per ounce, ARU'S shareholders do not have to worry. There will be a higher bid this week before expiration of Kinross's offer.
