That's a very dumb statement, billie Vandegay. It's really "silly to dispute this fact"... LOL

only if you use a straw man argument. Basically what you are doing is saying "X" number years of legislative experience = "X" number of years of legislative experience, while college degree = college degree, etc. That is the straw man.

The reality is that Harvard Law review president does not equal BA in journalism from Idaho state, and mayor of Wasilla (population 5000) does not equal Obama Indiana legislative tenure where he was a rising star in an IMPORTANT STATE (not a state the size of a midsize city with no fiscal concerns), and 18 mos of Alaska governor does not equal Obama's 2 year presidential campaign where he was keynote of the last dem convention (where was Palin 4 years ago if she was such a "star"), and overcoming the Clinton machine.

Bottom line- you are not claiming like for like, and anyone can see that. She started out with very humble insignificant accomplishments and for the most part continued along that path until this selection of her for VP. Its ridiculous to claim otherwise. I just wish there was a way to see relative candidates IQ scores because she is a massive lightweight.

Having said all this she won't get a single hillary voter if thats what they were going for. Maybe they were trying to fire up the base and she probably did that, because the base looks at things like the ability to produce a down syndrome baby as some kind of leadership potential, so they might be satisfied, but McCain already had those people.
