do you know anything about alaska? It has 600K-700K people or about the size of the 20th largest CITY in the USA. Except it doesn't have the same fiscal matters most mayors have to deal with thanks to the oil pipeline. So its a tiny city with no city type challenges. Alaska is also the pork capital of the country so there is your leadership. In other words running alaska is easier than running Sunnyvale. It is much more difficult to work in the Senate than Palins job as basically a city mayor with no fiscal challenges. Thats why people were miffed that Olympia Snowe or kay bailey hutchinson were not picked, they are senators, because being a senator is harder than running alaska. Not to mention shes done it for a full EIGHTEEN MONTHS.
