For some reason, and I don't know why, I feel Sarah Palin will energize the country and will fly in the face of the pundits who sit in their offices and pontificate. Why is it that everyone pays no attention to the Heartland? McCain and Palin were in my area yesterday for a rally. The temperature was hot, the sky cloudless. Thousands of people stood in the heat and waited to see them. Have (finally) seen The Queen, I was reminded of her failure to "get" what was happening in the country while she was ion Scotland. Similarly, the "experts" who sit in their ivory towers might fail to see what is happening here.
