Increasing taxes on the above $250K issue is something McCain is going to have to roll over on. I think his campaign is being rather obtuse on this issue. I do not believe the average voter is going to believe that somehow taxing the top 1% more is going to somehow or another be bad for the economy. This may be the only aspect of Obama's whole program that I think is correct. The government is spending too much and needs more money, the rich are a good place to start. I dont think someone should be able to take in $1,000,000 in dividend income and only pay at 15%.
