Change the law because the popular vote was/is never the way United States presidential elections were determined. Quit your job and make it your passion. Go ahead and change the Senate too while you're at it. Two votes per state, bah humbug!.

Re: Bush won only by intervention of the supreme court. If they had not overturned Florida's court, Gore would have been president. End of story. ...and we wouldn't have let Bin Laden attack the trade towers (Bush ignored alerts to the FBI) ...and we wouldn't have this huge deficit ...and we wouldn't have crapped all over 200 years of The United States of America being a beacon of hope and fairness against things like torture ...but we would have had a real energy policy instead of something designed to enrich our enemies and a few corporate crooks at the expense of the national good.
