Its hard for me to get too excited about this one, perhaps its kid brother. Its too high in Lat. It would need a DEAN like track to get me worried. I think there will be a hook or other disturbance before 65W. Lets see what happens in the next 10 degrees.

Now Mayaguana, and Caicos are taking a beating from Hanna. I well remember crossing the stretch of water separating those two islands. It was the worst weather in our whole trip. We encountered a nasty daytime gale that tested our nerves but not the boat. I just nosed her into the teeth and gingerly drifted to the SE. The wife downed some strong drugs and stayed below decks. It was scary until we reached the Caicos Bank. Then we played the wind up to Sapadillo Bay, beautiful full sailing day.
