Don't laugh....I looked up your noted NGS Vol 162 No. 3, page 319, and got a 1914 article in the NGS about a Study of the Alaskan Glaciers....Takes a while to load....but talks about Hubbard from about 1890 to 1910 receeding, and then it advanced over 1000 feet the next year.....starts about page 33
