I like CGLD which is OTCBB. 200 MIll shares out but producing 60,000 or so ounces per year with a resource over 2 mill ounces. Trades at about .62 though. Heinz calls it one of his picks and a very low cost producer between 275-325.Of course this stock also trades as CGC.V

There's a difference between Bulletin Board stocks and Pink Sheet stocks. Also within the BB category a wide range of differences. You have sub-penny crappola, but also CGLD producing gold at a profit. Or GORO with just 35 million shares that will produce 70K to 100K ozs. of gold the first year (beginning next 6 months), and doubling that production with mininmal share dilution within another 2 years. And GORO plans to pay 1/3 of cash flow as dividends. Granted, they are not your standard BB stock, but I don't think a blanket banning of BB stocks is warranted. Maybe a sub-penny ban or sub 50 cent ban, or whatever consensus.

Forgot to mention GORO producing at a cash cost of about $100/oz.

Warn then Ban, if a crappy OTC stock trading well under a penny, BOOT.

You may want to add that to your subject heading.

CD, I have a wide tolerance for different views and have only used 3 ignores since I've been a member. To me TraderWorld 1 is an obvious P&D er who IMHO contributes nothing of value to this thread, and he's one of the 3 on ignore. You've been amazingly tolerant and patient. But he's stunk up this thread long enough. My vote: BOOT.
Cheers,
OG

Bottom line imvho, this thread is not the proper venue for pumped up high flyers, surely there are other threads to pump this garbage. It only seems fitting with this being a well known "Ormetal fan club" to vibe along per say with quality plays as opposed to getting waaay off the beaten path.

CD, it's time to put some stern rules down to be streamlined as such, this is not to say other plays can't be "introduced" and followed up with debate if so desired (as it's open season in that regards), as the Coffin brothers are very well versed much like CC, as long as the plays have some merit...

In my eyes, this boils down to respect in the posting arena, it's a continual process of "weeding out the garden" with tracking favorite posters here on SI and there are some damn fine people in here. There are a few other threads that capture quite a few players in the commodity space here at SI, the point being, i truly think folks looking for serious conversation/debate/insights in the junior mining space etc; are weighing their options. The old saying with the juniors is that..."you're firstly investing in management"...well, the same applies here as it's all to do with the quality of posters that make it such a special place.

Why would i want to come here to wade thru Trader guru's pump & dump, i guess the same general statement applies to those that are pumping the crap outta CFO which is so thinly traded.

The individual company boards seem to go by the wayside here at SI, that's where SH kicks butt with the sole conversation on the HAT board. Sure, we all have our agendas within these threads but there comes a time when the foot needs to come down...and hard.

My mentioning of BCU for instance, it sits at 30 cents right now and is hardly a flyer as some might think by judging a book by its cover (ie. price/MC), i put it out at the bottom for some quality base metal players on here to do their DD and to get a good percentage gain from the lows (a value play).

Quality is number one, not a bunch of cheerleading/bashing one liner trash...

OTC-BB stocks - not to be listed on this thread.
rational - crooked manner that the board handles it's trades .
When OTC stocks list their buys and sells AND the orders are placed in Q as they arrive THEN I figure the crap can get on this board along with the other turds we play with .

CD are you trying to address the issue of P&D or just OTCBB in general....I don't normally buy OTCBB.....in fact not for years but there are good ones there....

P&D can come from any exchange....and even these stocks can be traded by someone who knows what they are doing....but I would not want to encourage it here....P&D depends on drawing in suckers that do not know any better.....

BTW, CFO is a serious, thinly traded jr that has the goods....

Tuff choice I think.....
