I did have a debate with my kids and they beat me up. I am an easy mark. If pro-life is defined as no abortions period after conception takes place, i am against that. By that definition even RU 486 couldnt be used as a day after pill. I will not give status of life to a one second old split cell, nor will i take away a womens right to choose during the early months where both issue of age of mother, health of mother and just plain how pregnancy occurred are paramount. As each day passes, the life argument grows stronger. Personally i wouldnt object at all if abortions were banned at viablity or even after three months of pregnancy but before that let the woman decide. I also said that when i vote for president issues of FP and economnics take precedence for me.
