The suburb I live in is ten times the size of Wasilla, and if our mayor announced a plan to run for governor, he would be laughed down the street for thinking that keeping traffic flowing through this little burg is anything like managing a midsize state budget. Of course, my county has more people than all of Alaska too.... Maybe this whole thing is just a ploy to revive "Northern Exposure" as a spring replacement series on one of the networks early next year? They have already have one role cast.....
