It appears you fail to understand that a carbon tax will be in addition to the existing taxes and commodity costs.

Democrats have already found themselves out of touch with the public wrt drilling. Wait until Obama wants to raise their energy costs 25%.

Take a look at the economy in England, that will be our future if we tell the government we want more more more.

I am not for smaller government. I am for a government which is more openly aligned with the needs fo the people; more transparent. Good government is the only true defense against the rapacity of the powerful.
