I heard that he did, and Jindal turned him down.

After listening to Jindal today, there's one thing he needs to do before reaching for a national audience, and that's to slow down when he's talking. Become a bit more southern.. :)

Maybe he was just trying to get all the hurricane info out quickly, but the speed of his voice was a bit off putting, at least to me..
