There was a time in a different universe and a different campaign when "Murphy Brown" had a child out of wedlock and was mocked by the RW for it. I suppose they would say that she didn't get married, and this is an example of two kids taking responsibility for their actions along with their parents.

You're right, though, I do feel some sympathy for the child. All of them.

Whatever. Candice Bergen must be amused and saddened.

neolib;

have suffered greatly as the result of teenage pregnancy, and the cause of this is held up to be the lack of nuclear families in those communities

Even here on Dale's thread, the daughters pregnancy seemed to be no big deal. Well I think it is for the following reason;....Palin marched her perfect family on stage for all America to see and Palin is a part of that right-wing wacko group that pushes their morality on the rest of us. She is a part of that right wing bunch who think teenagers will always abstain and consequently kids should not be taught sex education in schools.

If family life was really important to Palin, she would have held her own kid on the stage and would never have put her daughter - and her daughters pregnancy on the worlds stage. I think this is all about Palin and what is good for Palins career - family values be damned.
