Where is the evidence she wasn't vetted properly?

I see a lot of bloggers and liberal media people making the claim, but is there any REAL evidence to that effect?

" It's obvious McCain knew about the teenage pregnancy before he chose Sarah Palin."

Don't be silly. It's obvious McCain knew about the teenage pregnancy before he chose Sarah Palin.

I am not being silly. It looks very much like Palin was a change-in-plans-at-the-last-minute pick. Oh I am sure she was asked a lot of questions but that's not vetting. That's an interview. Now McCain's campaign is scrambling to cover all the bases.
