Examples of McCain's excellent judgement: --McCain advised Pres Reagan to NOT send marines to Lebanon--the tragic slaughter of hundreds of US marines in Beirut sadly proved McCain was correct. --John strongly supported the surge in Iraq despite the unpopularity of the idea at the time. The surge has been a huge success which again proved John McCain was correct. --Prior to Russia's invasion of Georgia, a reporter asked McCain how he felt about Putin. John answered that when he looked into Vladimir's eyes he saw K.G.B. Russia's brutal thumping of tiny Georgia proved that McCain is also correct about Putin. Vladimir Putin would much prefer Obama as President. --McCain's recent decision to choose Sarah Palin as his VP is another excellent example of John's fine judgement. It has motivated the Republican base to get to the polls on Nov 4.
