I miss Faultline too. He was the most rigorous moderator on SI. You and I make two people I know who have changed minds on the basis of discussions on the internet. Know of any others? Frankly, I would be crippled without the internet. I use it daily for productive purposes, like research. It is absolutely amazing what you can find out. For example, Google "abominated gravy" and you'll get articles about my GGGGrandfather. He wrote the first book on flyfishing, and entertained Mary Shelley and S.T. Coleridge among other things.
