I'd be surprised if it hasn't been used. Ever since JFK, it has been very common to talk about VPs like that.

I have not heard that being used for Biden. Probably because the mainstream media doesn't expect Obama to croak in office like they think McCain would.


There isn't the same concern because most people believe Biden is ready to be president.

Hence the "one heartbeat away" slogan. A great way to call attention to McCain's age. Only problem is that it also calls to attention Obama's lack of experience, and if the Dems want to make it an issue, they're making a huge mistake.

Frankly, I am glad they are calling attention to his age. I think he's too old. If he was 72 like HW was 72, I wouldn't have a problem.
