I don't understand your concern about Palin. If it's the heartbeat thing, I really have to confess that I'm not that thrilled with Pelosi being two heartbeats from the presidency.

Another 3-way race. She took 48%.

Better than Clinton in 1992. If you get near 50% in a three-way, you are close to double your opponents. For a non-incumbent first-timer, not so bad.
