I just heard a clip of Obama on Hewitt claiming that running his campaign was executive experience - he compared his campaign expenditures and staff to Wasilla's budget and staff.

What a silly thing to claim. Even if Palin hadn't been running a state govt much bigger than Obama's campaign for the past couple years, its foolish of Obama for him to be comparing his qualifications to those of McCain's veep.

How pathetic for Obama and his people.

Oh............big mis-communication here Nadine. I was referring to McCain.

And I don't buy the notion that there aren't enough Republican experts left to staff his admin. Maybe they don't call them experts, but there are plenty of knowledgeable people who have worked in State and local govt (think Sarah Palin) that would love to get involved.

Retiring "experts" would probably love to mentor them.

If McCain is elected, he will face conditions tailor-made to foster disorder. He will be leading a divided and philosophically exhausted party. There simply aren’t enough Republican experts left to staff an administration, so he will have to throw together a hodgepodge with independents and Democrats. He will confront Democratic majorities that will be enraged and recriminatory.
