"Maybe someone there wrote that, but thousands of people write there."

Apparently it did appear there. However, despite the pretense, it didn't start there. Not by a long shot. There has been some buzz about this for months in Alaska.

The fact of the matter is that some very odd things have gone on and Palin has been acting somewhat strangely. Now, for the record, I am dubious about it. If for no other reason, Down's is pretty rare amongst 16/17 year olds and much, much more common for a woman in her mid-40s.

I am not really a smoke means fire kind of guy. And sometimes people act in unexpected ways for their own fairly mundane reasons. But there is nothing here that builds confidence in judgment or the ability to operate under stress.

It was all over the place at the time, I don't know how you could have missed it.

Huffy even ran with it:

huffingtonpost.com

But guess what, KommieKos has removed the story, Huffy's link doesn't work.

Drudge covered it:
drudge.com

Here's the MercuryNews story:
blogs.mercurynews.com

Would you like more links?

Here's an article of the nonsense having been removed from KommieKos's site after being called on their bluff:

wakeupfromyourslumber.com

Of course, you can't erase every copy of your mistake....
lol

There was even a small echo of that original claim with a few people trying to claim well if Trig isn't Bristol's kid than he must be Willow's kid.

minx.cc
ace.mu.nu

Of course its all pretty bizarre, but I don't even understand the motivation. Taking on the responsibility for a disabled grandchild isn't exactly evil...
