He's a would be killer of police and soldiers and he doesn't regret that. He planted a bomb in a womans bathroom in the Pentagon. Why would you associate with a monster like that?

That was what, 40 years ago? We forgave the Vietnamese and the North Koreans and the Japanese and the Germans... you can't forgive Ayres?

It was a different place and a different time... lot's of violence was inspired by the Vietnam war. Most of the radicals were bumbling idiots who were more likely to blow themselves up than anything else. They believed in a cause... stopping the US from napalming Vietnamese villages. Their cause was right even if their methods were wrong.

Besides, he probably has some great stories, as I do. It was an interesting time to come of age.

These are two people who chose to attack innocent Americans in support of their cause of the day. Exactly alike.
