"You said Reagan sold arms to Iran" Ollie North did. Then Reagan claimed he didn't know about it. Then he admitted in a public speech that it did happen. Then the Reagan administration destroyed most of the records prior to investigation. Kind of like Karl Rove's missing emails. It all went poof into thin air.

Well enough, Jim. Reagan administration.
You should be kinder to Carter. He appointed Paul Volcker, ditched price controls on natural gas and generally administered all the nasty medicine it took to get the country back on track economically. We need some strong steps taken now. I do not think McCain will do it with the people and special interests he has around him. Obama knows the problem but I am not sure if he will bleed like Carter to administer the tough medicine.
