It is really an asinine act to fly out the father to be to the convention so as to portray a unplanned,, unwanted pregnancy as a planned one. --- I couldn't believe this myself. A kid looking for a piece of ass and knocking up some drunk underage girl to be made a Repub hero.

I don't see this as an issue. Bringing the Kid to the convention. Interesting. Maybe it will backfire.

What if he is or were a great high school athlete and after this convention he gets offers of a scholarship to play for some school? And she wants to stay near Mom (in Alaska, or Washington). They are going to give up his near-term and long-term prospects, rather than give up the child for adoption? It crossed my mind that Bristol wasn't mature enough a year ago, and maybe she gave up the "first one" and Sarah adopted her own daughter's biological son. If so, she might consider adopting the second one.
