"Ending" the war when you are behind equals capitulation. As I said, we were behind from day one... by your definition whenever we "end" the war it will be capitulation. And frankly you are right, capitulation to limiting the damage we have done to ourselves trying to put lipstick on a pig. You just prefaced a doctrinaire statement by saying "I'm a pragmatist" ... No I didn't. It's just so weird that you guys keep looking for the "good side" of this disaster.
