whats interesting, i am told is that some arab states are quietly supporting an israeli attack. Israel faces a life or death moment or so they think. I dunno. But the arabs face the equivalent of a sphere of influence seeking, Russia like nation in iran who they fear will throw her weight around backed up by a nuke monopoly. They dont trust the US to bail them out if that occurs. So an israeli attack might negate the threat and leave them unscathed while two nations they dont like fight it out.

ISrael's Ehud Barak
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak says Israel is determined to use 'any option' to stop Iran's nuclear program should sanctions fail.

In a Wednesday interview with Al Jazeera television, Barak said while there is still time for diplomatic measures against Iran's nuclear program, other countries should not remove 'any option' from the table, an allusion to the military option.

The rumor keeps circulating that the US and Israel will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities shortly. Given the nature of Barak, Bush and Cheney, it would not surprise me in the least.
