The Fed reported that economic activity has been slow in most of its districts around the country. Many of the districts said that business conditions were "weak" or "subdued." Consumer spending was slow in most of the country, while residential real estate markets remained weak. Consumers concentrated most of their spending on necessary items. Yet Mccain thinks the economy is fine.....talk about being out of touch with the average American.

Liberal Democrats are the last Americans who have any grounds to criticize the Palin family. The Democrat culture and social programs have spawned drug addicted youth, the vicious cycles of a welfare society, rampant urban crime, and extremely anti-American, hatemongering, so-called 'leaders' like Rev Jeremiah Wright. Clean your own house before you start critiquing someone else's abode. Ann, I don't know of any liberal who would be touting their pregnant teenaged daughter and her boyfriend on the national stage in front of millions of Americans. Last nite, two British blokes were desperately trying to understand it. Eventually, they concluded that this is a typical American problem as suggested by the McCain campaign. But its not a typical American problem......the vast majority of American teenagers get through high school without getting pregnant. I am embarrassed for my country that the Republicans are showboating this couple.
