Obama's reference to his campaign having 2,000 paid employees averages out to 2,000 divided by 50 states plus one District. 2,000 divided by 51 = 39 people as paid staff per state plus D.C. This is a drop in the bucket in a state like Virginia or California where 39 paid staff are not enough to even cover two of the counties such as the Northern most counties of Virginia. Is the 2,000 accurate? Who knows----could be a 1,000 or 500? Obama is attempting to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear with his claims as they say in rural Virginia and West Virgina. Won't work Obama.
