Obama was NEVER vetted by anyone.

Of course he wasn't vetted. No one picked him. He picked himself to run. The media vetted him just like they are doing with Palin.

That's why so many skeletons popped out of his closet to the dismay of Democrats.

But in the case of Palin, McCain could have truly vetted her but did not. Its the same old stuff......things down quickly without precision and forethought. And I am sick of it.

These are comments from GOP commentators re. the Palin pick:

"It's over," said Noonan, and then responded to a question of whether Palin is the most qualified Republican woman McCain could have chosen.

"The most qualified? No. I think they went for this — excuse me — political bullsh** about narratives," she said. "Every time Republicans do that ... because that's not where they live and it's not what they're good at and they blow it."

Murphy chimed in:

Mike Murphy: You know, because I come out of the blue swing state governor world: Engler, Whitman, Tommy Thompson, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush. I mean, these guys -- this is how you win a Texas race, just run it up. And it's not gonna work. And --

"The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical."
