"Now, she does really well with evangelicals. So it helps solidify their base. However, she seems to energize independents and disgruntled Democrats to fall into Obama's arms."

The real judgment on her will be the polls. So far, not very positive. Palin raises a huge question about McSames judgement, and his fitness as a 72 year old, busted up, cancer surviving geezer.

With McSame, you really have to ask the question: Is the VP ready to lead America? Apparently, John didn't ask HIMSELF that question.

So you have to ask, what were they thinking?

Did you catch the conversation between Republican pundits posted on this thread where they trash the hell out of McCain and Palin? I didn't think they [GOP operatives] would admit to what we all know.....that Palin is a joke and a terrible pick. There must a number of unhappy people in GOP land for them to talk like that.

Speaking of which, where's Mr. GOP himself aka inodes today?

They no doubt were thinking a little bit beyond your reach. Some of the best brains in politics including Karl Rove's most talented disciple have done the brain storming on this one.
It's going to hurt, CJ. Mind my words when you lose this one as well.

cj,

She polls poorly with women in other polls. In fact, she polls worse with women than men.

I would wait a few days for polls, but you know that every republican does better with men than women, right?
