Ouch! I hadn't looked at Western Goldfield (WGW) in a while. I see they aren't immune to the precious metal stock muggings either.

Let's hope this carnage doesn't last too much longer although I'm not concerned. Unlike Zincman, I am not much of a short-term trader but instead have been accumulating gold and silver stocks with the belief that eventually the smoke will clear and the fundamentals will take over.

Their $801 hedge doesn't look so bad now. Maybe they can time working out production kinks to coincide with sector bottom this fall? WGW worth keeping on radar.
