I would not want to be short the dollar or long commodities or gold for a while. There's too high a probability that the global recession leads to further deleveraging - and those flows return away from commodities and back to the dollar. Also, if Prechter's doomsday is going to happen, it's going to happen on this downturn with the MOAB (Mother of all Bubbles) deflating. Remember, too, that the dollar has lost a LOT of value and was due for some lengthy correction.

Granted, there will be one last opportunity to buy oil within the next couple years, and I hope to load up. I just haven't figured out how...
