I've said foreign names so I have foreign policy experience?

An interesting tactic.

That particularly litany, the one that included Venezuela was clearly scripted and well outside her knowledge base. And quite apparent. Those were lines too far for her.

>>Venezuela,
We laughed at that, too.
Dan said they were trying to work in as many countries as they could to make her sound competent.<<

Rambi -

Exactly. It was so transparent what they were trying to do, then to have her flub the line was funny.

I must say that I was deeply offended when she said, "As the mother of a special needs child..."

First of all, she's had a special needs child for four months. So she really doesn't know what kind of struggles parents of such children go through. And for her to use that as another point to gain political advantage is simply disgusting to me.

I guess it got to me because one of my girlfriend's twin daughters is autistic, and I know what she's been going through for years. Of course, she loves that little girl like life itself, as do I. She wouldn't want to change anything. But she knows what being the mother of a special needs child is all about. Sarah Palin has no more of a clue about that than she has about international relations with Russia.

End of rant.
