I'm, of course, only guessing. But it was like those moments in conversations with friends when you simply know they don't know what they are talking about even though they are acting as if they do. You can tell by the look in their eyes that it would be best not to start asking questions. They would either get angry and defensive or have to make an embarrassing confession.

It simply struck me like that.
