This needs to get back to the basic issues now. Palin has shown her chops. She is not the weak link I think Dems had hoped.
That actually would be a great thing, if we could start talking about the direction of the country.

They pounded on Obama tonight, often inaccurately. I hope he comes out swinging.

The hockey mom/pitbull line is a very good one, and she delivered it very well.

Her performance was first rate. It's rather ironic that so many times during the speech she had to say things about Obama being capable of making great speeches, but that didn't make capable of doing great things, and such like.

Apparently, the Republicans are very happy to have someone on the ticket who has some charisma and star power.

It will be interesting to watch Ms. Palin's career. After going back to Alaska in November, she'll have time to work on learning something about the rest of the world. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see her as a candidate for President within eight to twelve years.
