>>By the way, I once flew to Petersburg in the same plane as Wally Hickel, then governor. I guess that makes me suspect too, huh?

I do not see the relevance of your comparison at all. Sorry. Guess we see the world through different glasses.<<

Yes, that's right, the man who once said, "I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." But I'm not talking about any mystery involving his death. I'm talking about the party he founded.

You don't see the relevance of the comparison? Todd Palin was a member of the political party founded by that man in the mid-90s.

Sarah Palin has been married to Todd Palin for 25 years, I believe. Sleeping in the same bed every night. That's a much closer relationship than one might have with, say, a Pastor, wouldn't you say?

By the way, I'm not actually trying to say that anyone should make anything of this. I'm just using it as an example of how these things become twisted into sounding like their important. Like the Rev. Wright saying whatever he did, and people trying to make the case that Obama must therefore agree with him about every single thing, despite the fact that everything Obama has ever said or written shows that he didn't.

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that this post won't seem even slightly convincing to you. I think we do perceive the world quite differently.
