I agree, there was something coded about the Republicans harping on "community organizers". They know that the Bubba voters will understand that they are being dismissive and disparaging of black people with that kind of talk. For a party that tries to portray the Democrats as elitists, the Republicans do one hell of a job coming off as snide elitists themselves at their convention. Just the sort of people I couldn't stand in high school and college. That inherent condescending tone, as if all others are beneath them and know nothing.

After these conventions I feel a lot better about pulling the lever for Obama/Biden. Another 4 years of hearing Republican elites dictate to the country their views and policies would be depressing.
