Gloria Steinem is a feminist activist, a journalist, and the founder of Ms. Magazine. She is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, and sits on the Advisory Board of Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting.

Steinem was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 25, 1934. She spent the early part of her life on the East Side of that city, which she once referred to as a pathologically violent and racist place where white citizens actively looked for blacks to assault. Her father abandoned the family in 1944, and for the next seven years Gloria took care of her emotionally disturbed mother and attended school only irregularly.

Steinem entered Smith College in 1952; she worked for Democrat Adlai Stevenson's presidential campaign that year.

Does a leopard change it's spot? Gloria is back to her old self. She has gone back to her leftist, social calling of the 1970's and 1980's with her supporting Obama.

When she stood up for Hillary against the Obama slaughter I thought she had finally gained some wisdom. I even praised her for standing up for Hillary against the Obama Campaign and supporters who lobbed their scurrilous remarks against Hillary and voters who supported her.

Gloria Steinem cried wolf once in defending Hillary----now she is crying wolf again as she attempts to be the piper to draw 21st Century real women to drink the Obama koolaid.

It has to be very painful for her to see the real women of America become the excellent leaders they have become in politics and in the corporate world-----while simultaneously being mothers and wives.
